About Us

Our Mission

Provide the vital link of communication through technology to keep families in touch during long deployments of military parents.

About the Families

Military families suffer many emotional and financial hardships while they are separated. Keeping in touch shouldn't be one of those hardships. You can help put a smile on a child's face and provide peace of mind to a parent by a making a donation. Your donation will be used to provide computers to the kids so they can keep in touch through electronic email from their home to anywhere in the world. Email communication provides a vital link that allows kids to keep in touch with their Mom or Dad while they are deployed.

The United States military currently has over 100,000 deployed forces globally. There have been over a million deployed forces since the beginning of the IRAQ war. Many of the deployed military personnel have left behind kids that miss them terribly and long to keep in touch. No child should be denied the ability to communicate with their Mom or Dad.

It's about the kids

Can you imagine the fear and loneliness that goes through a child's mind when their parent is gone for months in harms way fighting a war? Can you imagine how this affects their relationships at home, at school and perhaps for the rest of their life? I know how that feels….

My Dad served in Vietnam when I was nine years old. My Dad survived the war but because we didn't have constant communication while he was deployed, my Dad felt like a stranger to me when he returned home. A few months after returning from Vietnam, he died in a tragic accident on the Army base. I have so many things I never got to say to him….. I honor my Dad and every parent that is deployed by giving the gift of communication to kids of the military. I assure you that your gift will be appreciated for a lifetime.

Imagine the smile on the face of a child that receives a computer from you so that they can email their Mom or Dad anytime from their home. Your donations bring piece of mind to parents and their children.

About the Founder

Jenny's Dad was deployed in Vietnam with the Army when she was nine years old. Her Dad died in a tragic accident shortly after returning from Vietnam at work on an Army base in Fort Leonardwood, Missouri.

Jenny and thousands of other children through war time and peace time, then and now, go without keeping in touch with their parent for months at a time. The technology to have instant access to loved ones didn't exist then but it does now. Thank you for taking the time to care and for your generous action to help keep families in touch.
